Effective 25 September 2026
Terms of Use
- HOODS is non-custodial. Your keys are made on your device; we cannot move, freeze or recover your funds.
- Crypto is risky. You can lose everything you put in. Nothing here is financial advice.
- Don't use HOODS for anything illegal, or if you are sanctioned or in a restricted place.
- The software is provided as is. Read the risks below before you use it.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms are an agreement between you and rhoods.xyz (“we”, “us”). They cover the website at rhoods.xyz, the app at rhoods.xyz/hood, and the $HOODS token's public materials (together, “HOODS”). By using HOODS you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use HOODS.
HOODS is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Robinhood Markets, Inc. “Robinhood Chain” is the network HOODS runs on. The private pool is built on Senddy.
2. Who can use HOODS
You may use HOODS only if all of the following are true:
- you are at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement;
- you are not a person or entity on a sanctions list (including those administered by OFAC, the UN, the EU or the UK), and not owned or controlled by one;
- you are not located in, or a resident of, a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, or where using HOODS or holding $HOODS is against the law;
- you are using HOODS for yourself, or with authority for the organisation you represent.
You are responsible for knowing and following the laws that apply to you, including tax laws.
3. What HOODS is
The token
$HOODS is a fixed-supply token on Robinhood Chain: 1,000,000,000 tokens, 6 decimals. Nobody can mint more; tokens can be burned, which only lowers the supply. $HOODS gives you no ownership, equity, voting, profit or other rights in us or any company. It is not a security, a deposit or a claim on anyone.
The market and its fees
$HOODS trades in a Uniswap v4 pool with a smart contract (a “hook”) attached. The hook has no owner and cannot be changed or upgraded. Every trade in that pool pays a 1% $HOODS tax, sent to shielded holders, and a pool fee. For the first hour after launch the pool fee starts at 99% and falls to 1%; after that every trade pays 2% in total. Part of the pool fee is added to the pool's liquidity and part buys $HOODS back for shielded holders. The launch liquidity is held by the hook and cannot be withdrawn by anyone.
The app and the private pool
The app gives you a private account and deposit addresses. Tokens you send to a deposit address are shielded into the Senddy privacy pool; your device builds the zero-knowledge proofs, and a relayer submits the transactions and pays the gas. Withdrawing from the private pool pays an exit fee (currently 2%) that goes to the holders who remain. The exit fee is a setting of the Senddy pool and can be changed by its operator, within a limit of 3%.
4. Your account and keys
You sign in with an email address or a wallet, through our authentication provider, Privy. Your private keys for the app are derived on your device from a signature you give, and are kept in your browser's memory only. We never receive them.
- We cannot recover your account. If you lose access to the wallet or email you signed in with, you lose access to your private balance.
- Only sign on rhoods.xyz. The unlock message says so. Anyone who gets that signature can spend your private balance.
- You are responsible for the security of your devices, wallets and email, and for every action taken with them.
5. What we control, and what we don't
- The token and the hook cannot be changed by anyone, including us.
- The Senddy privacy pool is an upgradeable contract. Its operator can upgrade it, pause it, and change settings such as the exit fee. A pause stops deposits and withdrawals for everyone until it is lifted.
- Shielding, private sends and withdrawals depend on off-chain services (a gateway, an attestor and a relayer). If they are unavailable, those actions cannot be completed until they return. We do not guarantee that any service will be available.
- USDG, the stablecoin $HOODS trades against, is issued by a third party that can pause it.
We may change, suspend or stop the website and app at any time. Doing so does not affect tokens you hold or the contracts on chain.
6. Risks you accept
Using HOODS involves serious risks, including these:
- Loss of value. $HOODS may lose some or all of its value. Prices can move sharply, and liquidity can be thin.
- Smart contract risk. The contracts have been reviewed internally but may still contain bugs that cause losses. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed.
- Privacy limits. Deposits into and withdrawals out of the private pool are public on chain, including amounts, addresses and timing. Privacy depends on how many people use the pool and on your own behaviour. We do not promise that you cannot be identified.
- Rewards are not guaranteed. What shielded holders earn depends on trading volume and changes all the time. Any rate shown is an estimate, not a promise.
- Third parties. Wallets, networks, RPC providers, indexers, Uniswap and other services can fail, change or be attacked.
- Regulation. Laws on crypto and privacy tools are changing and may affect whether you can use HOODS or what $HOODS is worth.
7. No advice
Nothing on HOODS is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell anything. $HOODS is a meme token. Do your own research, and only use money you can afford to lose.
8. Rules of use
You agree not to use HOODS to:
- break any law, including sanctions, anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing laws;
- hide the proceeds of crime, or to finance terrorism or any other illegal activity;
- attack, overload, reverse-engineer for harm, or interfere with the website, the app, the contracts or the services they rely on;
- impersonate anyone, or mislead others about HOODS or its connection to you;
- get around any restriction we place on access to the website or app.
We may block access to the website or app for anyone we believe is breaking these rules.
9. Third-party services
HOODS links to or relies on services we do not control, including Privy, WalletConnect, wallet providers, Uniswap, Robinhood Chain explorers and Senddy. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for them.
10. Our content
The HOODS name, logo, artwork and website content belong to us or our licensors. You may share them to talk about HOODS, but not in a way that suggests you are us or that we endorse you.
11. Disclaimers
HOODS is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or availability. We do not warrant that HOODS will be secure, error-free or uninterrupted.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we and our affiliates, contributors and service providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of tokens, funds, profits, data or goodwill, arising from or related to HOODS, however caused. Our total liability for any claim related to HOODS is limited to USD 100.
Some places do not allow some of these limits; where that is the case, they apply as far as the law allows.
13. Indemnity
You agree to cover us for claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your use of HOODS in breach of these terms or of the law.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above when we do. If you keep using HOODS after an update, you accept the new terms.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
